More Than offers free contents cover
UK insurer More Than is rewarding customers who do not make a claim on their home contents insurance with a unique two-year fixed price option, including an added bonus of a third year for free if no contents claim is made in the first two years.
The offer, open to new customers from 20 January 2007, will typically save homeowners £100 over the course of the three years compared to a standard more than home insurance policy ? equivalent to a saving of 30%. Existing More Than customers can transfer to the new deal at renewal of their policy. Mike Holliday-Williams, managing director at More Than said... ?This new offer is based on consumer feedback and supports our strategy of putting the customer at the heart of our business. Homeowners have told us they want simple pricing and a reward for not making claims on their home contents cover, so that?s what we?ve done. This new deal offers two benefits: a fixed two-year price and a third year completely free if they make no claim in the first two years.? More Than home contents insurance offers one of the highest standard levels of cover, automatically giving customers up to £75,000 for home contents, £2,000 of cover for plants and £2,000 of cover for outdoor contents such as garden furniture and children?s toys. Mike Holliday-Williams continued... ?At More Than we?re always looking for ways we can do more to protect and reward our customers. They can rest assured that while we?re doing everything we can to help make sure they?re fully protected, now and in the future, we?re also giving an additional benefit for those who don?t make a claim.? By buying online customers will also qualify for a 25% discount and if they buy buildings and contents cover together they will qualify for an additional discount.
