The Post Office is offering £50 cash back on it's car insurance policy from 1st February until 30th June 2008.

To qualify for the cash back bonus, customers simply need to get a quote for Post Office car insurance either online, at a local Post Office or by calling free on 0800 169 6500.

Phil Ashkuri, Post Office insurance director, said: "We advise people to look carefully when choosing new insurance cover as many providers may offer great promotions but the detail of the policy may not deliver the right level of cover or value for money."

The Post Office Car Insurance policy includes:

• A free courtesy car
• Repairs guaranteed for three years
• Free windscreen repair service
• 24 hour claims helpline
• New replacement car if yours is stolen or damaged beyond repair and is less than 12 months old
• Cover for driving in the EU for up to 60 days
