A Way to Save Money on Your Car Insurance

Article by Pieman

I don't know if it will work for everyone, but I saved £64 by putting my girlfriend as a named driver on my car insurance policy with Norwich Union. The total premium before adding a named driver was £486.

She has a full licence, her own car and good driving record so I guess it reduces the risk for the insurance company.

We haven't tried this on her car insurance policy yet so am not sure if it works registering a male as a named driver on a policy with a female as the main driver.

Give it a try, won't cost you anything to find out.
