My mobile phone fell out of my rucksack on the way to work and they have been impossible to deal with regarding a replacement. Met all their criteria for reporting and was referred to another department. I then had to wait 7 days for the appointment call back regarding the loss of my phone. Gave them 3 numbers, 1 work, 1 home and 1 mobile. After checking with them that they wouldn't call me on the work number on a Sunday they did (3 times) without trying the other 2 numbers, and then when I tried to phone them back, my calls have been blocked by a message saying that they had tried to contact me! They phoned my work number 3 times that Sunday and I am still without a phone.

Absolute rubbish. My phone was stolen. I was on holiday and the signal was really bad. By the time I got my precious crime no. it was outside the 24 hours. I thought I would not have to worry I had reported the theft within that time. I complained twice, they then informed me that not having a signal was not a good enough reason as I could have used a pay phone. Well cheers Lifeline for your help and support.

I am having extreme difficulty claiming from these people. When I came to make a claim on a lost phone (even with all the correct details in hand and following all correct procedures) I was declined. Reason; that I claimed within 48 hours of losing the phone and not within their 24 hour limit.
I have informed them that making a claim is rather difficult in the absence of a phone, and 48 hours was the best I could do.

How interesting. They refused my claim when my laptop was stolen from a locked and alarmed vehicle which was parked on a private driveway, so I have contacted the Financial Services Ombudsman for assistance. I have many reviews of this company and they are all very bad reports.

Lifestyle insurance refused to pay out after my phone was stolen from my locked and alarmed car. They said the conditions state it should be locked in the boot or glove compartment. Don't waste your money these people are just welshing bookies who will do anything not to pay out!
