Accident, 100% not my fault, 2 years ago involving a driver insured with NIG. They ignore solicitor letters, don't return calls, refuse to pass on claim information, obstructive, passed the buck to other departments, dragged their feet etc., etc. They have made what should have been a simple and very straightforward claim into a really stressful and frustrating experience for an innocent motorist.

It is two years since my daughter was involved in an accident which police verified as not her fault. NIG thru broker Prestige wrote her car off & made offer which in no way replaced her car. The way they treated her was dreadful. The matter is now with the Ombudsman, (2 years). Prestige/NIG turned down the Ombudmans initial judgement and they have been as obstructive as they possibly can in the whole matter.

Been reading the comments on this page and I am amazed by them. Since being with NIG I have made 3 claims and all were dealt with within days, my cars were repaired quickly and to a high standard. On 2 claims they went in the garage the same day and always had courtousy car. Very pleased with the service.
