When our dog was run over they claimed the replacement cost was £250 even though the true cost was about £600-£700, and we'd paid originally £500. I had to ask the secretary of the breed's society to confirm this before they would pay up. Also my friend has the insurance cost doubled for his 2 dogs, which is blackmail as it is supposed to be life cover and you will have pre existing conditions excluded if you go elsewhere. Avoid!

Was excellent but has changed insurers which doubled the premium and put the excess from nil to £90.
