One months payment was accidentally missed, we hold our hands up to that but they took 2 more payments before we got a call from their collection department stating that they had cancelled the policy as we had not responded to 2 letters they had sent. We never received these. If we had we would have paid over the phone as it was a genuine error that slipped passed us, no other payments had ever been late. They had not even taken the minimum of reasonable steps to contact us in my opinion, they could have phoned but it appears they save that until they have cancelled everything by which point it is too late. Combine this with some of the worst customer care agents I have ever spoken to.

Hi Jon, I have the same problem. I am still paying my insurance even though I do not have the car purely because it is cheaper than cancelling. Also when I got married my insurance went up! Wish I hadn't have bothered changing my name with them....it's not like I am going to claim on a car I don't have!

Absolute disgrace! Worst car insurance company I have dealt with. I have made no claims what so ever, but after 6 months on the policy they are asking for a £300+ charge to cancel my policy! Its cheaper for me to continue insuring a car I no longer use than the pay the cancellation!

Good service when policy needed amending and have done this on two occasions. Also have made a claim and found staff very helpful throughout the claims process.
