We work with a specially selected small panel of insurers to ensure that no matter whether you are 17 or 99, driving a classic car, or a 2010 plate we can quote for you.

We currently have 6 insurers, all underwriting the same John Lewis Car Insurance policy that include specialists in insuring the young and the old and all ages in between, female drivers, drivers with 0 years NCD and drivers with motoring convictions. This allows us to broaden our strengths and competitiveness across all types of motorist.

The product includes features and benefits that do not always come as standard with other policies. For example...

• we provide all our comprehensive policy customers with a replacement car in any instance and not just for repairs – if the car is stolen or a write-off we give our customers a replacement car for up to 21 days to allow them adequate time to receive a cheque and pick a new car, aiming for minimum disruption and inconvenience to the customer.
• And we won’t leave our customers stranded if their car has to be towed away following an accident. With our Emergency Taxi Cover as standard customers can claim back up to £50 in fares so they can continue their journey.*
• Our customers can reap the rewards of careful driving and earn up to 75% No Claims Discount and for an additional premium can protect it. 
• Research showed our customers drive in Europe and so we include up to 90 days per year free cover in Europe and we also have a European breakdown option.
