Health cash plan provider Westfield Health Insurance has confirmed its position as a major player in the cash plan market by winning a national award for a fourth consecutive year.

Fighting off tough competition from other UK health cash plan companies, Westfield was crowned 'Best Healthcare Cash Plan Provider' for 2007 at the Health Insurance Magazine Awards.

Head of Intermediary Sales at Westfield Health, Steve Sharrock, said: "These awards are the most highly sought after in our sector, so to have been named the Best Healthcare Cash Plan Provider for the fourth consecutive year is a phenomenal achievement.

Westfield's success follows news of a survey of their policyholders which produced one of the highest customer satisfaction scores ever recorded for an organisation participating in the survey for the first time. This was further endorsed when the organisation was reaccredited with the acclaimed Servicemark Award.
