Review of Fonesafe Insurance for Mobiles

My daughter was advised to take out insurance for her mobile by T-Mobile. Last week she lost her phone. She informed Fonesafe that she thought she might have left it in a sunbed shop as this was the last place that she had been. She returned to the shop within minutes of realising her phone was not on her and no phone was found in the shop.

Fonesafe declined the claim saying that she left the phone unattended in a public building. How can that be proved. She only assumed it was left there it could have been taken out of her bag or she might have dropped it. Fonesafe do not cover for accidental loss as the definition of loss is when something is no longer in your possession. I think that this insurance company is a scam and would not recommend them to anyone. Incidently my daughter is appealing their decision.
