We had a serious flood in May 2006 and are still not home as Norwich Union will not pay the builders for work done so far. We were threatened with eviction from our temporary home as Norwich Union had not paid the rent for 5 months. They make it too easy to take payments from you and then make settling claims too painful.
Avoid this company like the plague, they do not respond to correspondence, calls or emails. Call centres in India are ill-informed with claims information and it seems are only scripted to delay the process of sending out payments.
