We had one bike insured at Bennetts. We wanted to buy another bike and take out a multi-bike policy.
We were mis-sold and ended up with two policies complete with two lots of legal cover that we did not want. After more than eight adjustments to our direct debits and many hours wasted on phone calls and letters, Bennetts admitted to some confusion and, as a good will gesture offered a reductiion in charges. Job done you might think..............No.
Next was a thirty quid charge to cancel a policy that we didn't want or ask for in the first place. We queried this charge. Bennetts responded by unleashing the hounds. We now have a pack of aggressive shaved head thugs making all sorts of threats on behalf of Bennetts. In mid discussion Bennetts sold the alleged debt on to a collection agency.
Take my advice. Bennetts may apppear cheap. In actual fact they are cheap and NASTY! If you value decency, honesty, customer service, being a valued customer, integrity, professionalism etc, you are unlikely to find these qualities at Bennetts. Beware.

I totally agree with you - the same happened to me - I wouldn't take out another insurance policy with Bennetts if you paid me, they are a total rip off. I was threatened with debt collection agency two days after cancelling.
