Do not go with this insurer. You may as well have no insurance at all as go with them. Do not be lulled by their low rates. You may as well throw the money in the bin. Vets will not deal with them directly because they are so difficult to get payment from.
I have personally had to make two claims with E & L. I only received payment 6 and 8 months later respectively through threatening to take my evidence to Watchdog. It took them 3 phone calls before they even sent out the claim form. Then they tried to say that we were late completing it (even though it was due to them not sending out the form!). Then they tried to wriggle out of it by saying I hadn't informed them of some minor vets treatment my pet had received 2 years ago (I hadn't claimed as it was just some ear drops!).
I am still waiting for may latest claim which was made 5 months ago.
