Tried to make a claim after my car was broken into. Gave up after six months due to their appalling customer service. They are clearly well trained in lying and delaying tactics, also trying to hide behind the so called policy details which they cannot substantiate.
They are also trying to charge me for a new policy as they say everyone is on "automatic renewal" unless you write to them. I renewed with another company and tesco's are currrently trying to get money out of ME now for a service that was not sanctioned or requested.
It is difficult to recommend any insurance company, however I would advise anyone to steer clear of Tesco.
AVOID!
