What a nightmare. Came to unblock an outside drain at my fathers house, put a jetwasher down the drain 2 weeks ago and got it stuck in the drain, where it still remains 2 weeks later. They have now told him that the drain has collapsed.
They have told him that they sent an engineer with a camera to inspect the drain and this is how they know it has collapsed. They have now admitted no one has been with a camera so how can they say the drain has collapsed?
They have sent him a bill for £3,900 of which he is only covered for £2,000. Included in this bill is the imaginary engineer and camera. He is now waitng for them to get back to him to let him know what is happening next. My father is 73 years old and can really do without all of this. If anybody from HOMESERVE is reading this, I will tell you now you will not be getting a single peny out of my father. I will see you in court if it comes to it.
