I purchased a policy form this company having searched around and they seemed to be the best bet.
However the day after I had asked them, I received a quote which was £40 cheaper. At the same time I received an email from Adrian Flux asking for several more pieces of information before they could confirm the policy. Wrongly thinking that meant they hadn't processed it I cancelled it and went with the cheaper company.
That was no problem said Adrian Flux, for my 24 hours of not really being covered they would charge me £65, one third of the price of the policy. They then took the original sum of money from my bank account so that they could refund it less £65 two days later. In the meantime they sent me my policy documents by email, presumably so they could say that everything had been processed. Needless to say I was not amused.
