Customer Review Comments:
Their exclusions are so wide ranging that if your dog has ever been to the vet, you probably won't be successful in making a claim! An example would be my dog has arthritis in one leg (we have x-rays to confirm this). She injured a completely different leg in a fall down a steep embankment, causing elbow displaysia. We submitted a claim. It was refused on the basis that she had arthritis in one leg and their exclusion was therefore on all 'bony injuries'.
My other dog was insured with the same company. We made a claim for a particularly nasty water infection he had at the end of last year (2011). They refused the claim because he had suffered from a water infection before (he is 6!) and their exclusion was for 'the entire urinary system'. Other insurance companies have much more accurate exclusions and only exclude for certain periods of time in some cases.
