The worst and most frustrating experience of car insurance that I have EVER had!!!!!!
Another driver claimed that I had reversed into his car - which I hadn't - and tried to claim against AVIVA. Six months down the line and we are no further forward. Why? Because AVIVA have absolutely no idea of what's going on!!
Guaranteed, you will have to wait on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (and that's quick for them) with horrendous hold music before being put through to an Indian call centre where nobody can understand what you are saying. I called my 'claim advisor' 10 weeks ago to find out what the status of the claim was but he had the day off. I am still waiting for him to call me back. Saying that, even if he does ever call me back - preferably before I die - he probably won't understand (yet again) a word that I'm saying and we will be no further forward yet again.
My husband took out this policy as it was over £100 cheaper than our previous insurers - he has now realised the error of his ways and is well aware that should he ever go with this company again, then it will cost him a hell of a lot more because he will be paying a fortune in divorce proceedings! Avoid this company as if your life depends on it ... and in all honesty it probably does because, guaranteed, after dealing with AVIVA you will be more than ready to jump off something high!!
