I am in the process of claiming for a holiday that I insured for my dad, he died unexpectedly, (a complete shock), two weeks before he was due to go.
You're quite right, definately read the small print, at every turn they are coming up with reasons / excuses not to pay out. I thought it would have been a straight forward claim, NOT SO!
