Customer Review Comments:
I took out the national and home start recovery with this service. They claim average national recovery time is under 40 mins. I broke down and was told someone would be with me within the hour. Then after around 50 mins we got a call saying 'the agent' was coming from 60 miles away so wouldn't be there for around another 75-90 mins. In the end they turned up a total of roughly 2 hrs 20 mins after the call out (not great given it was snowing and we were on our way on holiday brr!). Roads were still fully accessible and I don't see why the agent had to come from 60 miles - why not use someone closer? - plus the location on their van was much less than 60 miles away. Anyway the guy did around 20 mins work on it, said it was 'fixed'.

We drove 20 miles to holiday destination and a few miles next day. Soon after setting back home same problem arose - no way we would make it home. Called again - told one hour. Then told due to bad weather would be another 90mins. In the end we were calling back asking when they would be coming - it was pitch black and we were freezing. We were told a road was closed due to bad weather and they weren't sure if it would be opened again. I don't know how true this was as when we were eventually towed back - over 4 hours later than initial call - the road was relatively ok. I know you can't help the weather but in this situation being kept informed about what would happen would help - we didn't know whether to leave the car and get a taxi to a hotel but didn't want to invalidate the call out. When you're freezing cold though these things are important! Personally I wondered if they realised the car had a serious fault and didn't want to take it to a garage to save them money - by waiting so long it meant all garages were shut so they had to tow us home. Otherwise if it couldn't be done in a day they'd have to still tow it back or pay public transport to collect the car once fixed. So I did wonder if it was to save them money.

Anyway I would go with a different company next time - their customer service initially seems all very nice but then they call back with more delays and then don't call at all! I would hope that anyone taking a call from someone stuck in the dark and freezing cold away from any toilets/food places/accommodation would want to help but they just seemed abrasive when we called them for an update.

Good Points: Eventually towed us back
Bad Points: V long time waiting for recovery and poor customer service after initial call.
