I was with E&L many years - although it was often difficult making amendments to my policy, despite me spelling things out to them, my items would be spelt incorrectly which annoyed me. However I persevered until last month I had a very "heavy month" financially and the D/D bounced. Admittedly they wrote to me and of course I meant to deal with it as I didn't want to go without insurance but within 2 weeks I had received a letter saying they had cancelled my policy and the date that it expired from was before the DD bounced which meant I had done the last 3 gigs without insurance!
Customer service - I don't think so considering I had been with them for quite a few years and never had a claim (with any insurance company).
I am now going elsewhere and paying less, no other company would cancel so quickly the whole process was less than a month!
