Esure were very welcoming when we switched insurers but after 4 months cancelled our policy without notice, sending a letter (no warning letter, no phone call, no email) dated 4 days after the cancellation citing 'missing information'. This left us uncovered for 10 days before we found out.
On phoning their customer service, they could not explain what this missing information was, changing the story several times, but were perfectly happy to sell us a new policy! No apology, no good explanation even.
I have since seen other customers online who have written of similar experiences. Have now cancelled the policy myself.
