Bag snatched in Tunisia with iphone, ipod, gucci sunglasses, make up, £20 cash, handbag, safety deposit key. Despite supplying receipts as requested they deducted 10% for the ipod, make up, handbag, for the sunglasses 60% and told me my phone was not covered although they did want the receipt for it.
I phoned and complained and was told the 60% had been deducted as the sunglasses were a few years old. I then asked why the percentage was so high as they were in new condition and was abruptly told its not new for old. They also took an excess of £100 which ment the settlement cheque was not worth getting. When I asked why the Policy Booklet had not been sent out I was told they are not responsible for Royal Mails non delivery.
I would not recommend this Company to anyone as they are clearly only interested in getting your money and not prepared to pay out fairly in the event of a claim.
Slow and very unhelpfull. 2 months to settle.
