All fine and dandy with cheap quotation, however when I had a claim what a fiasco. Took 3 weeks to collect the car and take to 'local' repairer 50 miles away. No courtesy car as promised - all out apparently. Took another two weeks to tell me car was a write off.
They offered me half what I paid for the car so a battle then ensued with 5 letters and eventually a half decent offer. I'm still considering going to the financial ombudsman - bloody cheek - they said my car had lots of scratches and bumps also with no SH this would knock down the price. Car had one scratch FSH and was mint.
It must have cost a fortune to ring each time as their average answer time was 20 minutes, I wrote in the end just as quick. never got a renewal (for NCD proof) when I evenyually did they knocked NCD down from 11 years to 4 years.
