I have been with T-Mobile for years and annualy upgrade my phone with them. I have never had separate phone insurance as this has always been included in my own home insurance.
After renewing my phone in October and there being no mention of insurance over the phone I noticed a Direct Debit came out of my account in Oct, Nov and now in Dec for £8.99 each time from Homecare Insurance.
I called them and they said this was authorised by T-mobile and could not be cancelled. The service I received from them was disgusting, in the end they terminated my call as I backed the adviser into a corner and he said there was nothing he could do for me.
They won't let you speak to a manager and if you want to take your complaint further they have to complete a form and you are advised it will take 10 working days for someone to come back to you.
At no point did I sign anything authorising the removal of this money from my account, they are in effect stealing from my account and there is nothing I can do. I have contacted T-mobile several times who say that it is up to Homecare to sort. I have tried to cancel the DD but have been advised this could effect my credit rating.
I do not know what to do!!
