Absolutely appalling service. I will never take out cover with Homeserve again and will cancel this policy as soon as I'm able to.
I reported my washing machine to be not working 4 weeks ago and was booked an appointment with an engineer between 0800 and 1800 with no idea of a time the following week.
The engineer took until 1100 to call to say he couldn't make it due to the weather. I rebooked. Yesterday I waited 10 hrs with no engineer so I called and was told the engineer would be another 1 1/2 hrs so I had to rebook for today. It is now 1920 and I have been waiting since 0800.
As I didn't manage to get to the phone when the engineer rang it can't be guaranteed he will visit. Apparantly they don't knock on doors anymore. The company can't contact him on the phone either so who knows what's happening. I've been told it's my fault.
