I bought a policy in March for my car, a Morgan. I did not put my son's name on the policy as he very rarely comes to the UK, and may use the car for a few days a year. The Ibuyeco representative told me that I could add his name as a temporary driver should I need to.
I rang to add him as a temporary driver in July, for three days, and was told the underwriter would not allow temporary drivers. I was allowed to add my son to the policy for the remaining duration of the policiy, at a cost of over 60 pounds plus a 30 pound amendment fee.
I consider this very poor service, and will not be using them again.
