Review of Pet-insurance.co.uk Dog Insurance

I took this policy out aprox Sept 2009 and in Jan 2010 my dog ate an ibruprofen tablet and was seriously ill. She had to be admitted to an emergency vet on a Sunday, stay over night and then be taken to her normal vet on the Monday. The vet bill was substantial, however Pet-insurance.co.uk paid out no questions asked within their 90 day period.

In December 2010 I was told my Westie had diabetes and had to be on insulin for the rest of her life twice daily, unfortunately we have not yet been able to regulate her sugar levels and she has been in and out of the vets on a regualar basis costing a significant amount of money.  Once again the insurance has paid out no questions asked.

Due to being diabetic she now has cateracts in both eyes and again the insurance company have reasured me they will pay out.

I have to say that for the small amount I pay for this policy they are amazing and I hope continue to be so.
