Customer Review Comments:
I recently lost my iPod Touch. This did not cause me the excessive amount of stress I normally feel when I've lost something because I had taken out loss protection with Protect Your Bubble.

It wasn't long before I started to feel stressed though. I rang both the police and Protect Your Bubble within my alotted 24 hours, and was informed that I needed to email them my proof of purchase, a screenshot of the iPod being registered as lost on Immobilise.com and the serial number of the ipod, all of which I did within 24 hours. I was informed that I would be contacted within 2 days.

9 days later I gave in and rang them. I was told by the Call Centre that my proof of purchase was not valid, as my name was not on the receipt. I got the iPod from HMV, and the receipt was a standard till receipt.

I also got an extended warranty so I sought that out, at the request of PYB, and rang them back having found that my name wasn't on that either.

I then offered to send them my Mum's bank statement (It was a birthday gift!) proving that she paid for it.

At this PYB told me that because I did not purchase my iPod the insurance should have been taken out by my mum, as she owns the iPod, not me, which is ludicrous.

I feel that I have been ripped off by this company and want to prevent anyone else from having the same problems.

Good Points: None
