I have had the most destressing time with PRU Health. Never before have I had such bad treatment. Authorisation although given is denied and part payment of fees instead of full fees authorised. Claims that they have to listen to telephone calls requesting authorisation, then denying that the full fee was agreed.
Every time I have applied I am told I cannot have my specialist but have to have a specialist who works within their fees structure which they say is based on NICE. Specialists who I have had for twenty years or so, although authorised when payment is due they deny having agreed the full fees of the specialist.
My husband has been very ill and I have spent hours fighting PRU Health to allow him his specialist treatment. I have given up myself and instead of fighting I have resorted to going on the NHS as I cannot keep this fighting up anymore!
