Like one or two others, I have insurance through my Barclays account.
My daughter left her phone on the school bus and despite calls to the bus company and, even though it hadn't been used since she got of the bus, surprise surprise there was no sign of it.
LSG refused the claim because "Theft or loss of your mobile phone where it has been left accidentally or deliberately in a public place or a place to which the public have access" is not included.
Can someone explain to me, short of losing your phone on the moon, how you can leave it anywhere other than a public place because you were in that place when you lost it!!
Unbelieveable - I am writing to Barclays as well as they endorse this useless policy.
