Was a happy customer right up until I needed them to do something for me. Had been with them for over 3 years as they were usually same price, give or take, as Elephant, and I'd not heard good things about Elephant's service if you ever need to claim.
However, it all changed when I moved house and tried to change my address, to be informed that they didn't cover my postcode. Particularly frustrating since the car is now locked up in a secure underground resident's carpark with 24hr security, whereas previously it was parked on the street around the corner from brixton. Go figure. Anyhow, there was zero flexibility on what could be done, got a 7 day cancellation notice and told to get on with finding someone else to cover it.
Not one company I spoke to or got an online quote from refused to cover the postcode apart from Greenlight. To add insult to injury they kept £100 of the balance owed back to me as it was 'non-refundable' extras and their commission. Frankly don't think they deserve that commission and don't believe I was made aware of the non-refundable part.
Needless to say I would NOT recommend them to anyone who lives anywhere vaguely urban and thinking about moving house and my experience of their customer service would not give me confidence in their ability to help me in the event of a claim.
