This review is being posted as a warning to others. I have been fighting for justice against this company since 2006 when I fell down a hole in my driveway breaking my ankle in 5 places. The whole sorry tale can be found on my blog www.elainesbrokenankle.blogspot.com.
There is a court case pending and I also have a complaint lodged with the Financial Ombudsman Service the results of these issues will be published on my blog.
During my fight I have been researching this company and feel not enough publicity is given to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) who issue a 'name & shame' list of newly received complaints. The figure for Zurich Insurance Group for 2009 is 1212. That's 1212 very unhappy customers who have managed to negotiate Zurich's own complaints procedure and have still felt aggrieved enough to use the FOS! A truly dreadful statistic that Zurich will not want too much publicity for.
