My dog died of gastro enteritis. E & L refused to pay claim as he had been treated for diahorrea some 8 months before, despite the vet stating that incidents were totally unconnected.
It took weeks for a claim to go through and when queried by phone they stated it had only been received a week. Took several more weeks then before and e-mail was received. Despite appealing they still refused to pay stating if they had known he had been treated with diahorrea they would have excluded digestive system which meant I wouldn't have been able to claim anyway.
