I have been with this company since when they were called Norwich Union etc and have been loyal for over 7 years.
I recently had the misfortune of having a drunk driver hit me up the backside of my car and had to make a claim. My awful experience continued through the worlds worst customer service (there was no service!) from Aviva claims. I had rude staff, wrong info entered onto their computer, claim not settled on time, people trying to charge me for a hire car which was included in my policy and the icing on the cake was today when they sent my renewal which had almost doubled.
When I asked where they got the quote from, they said the increase was because of my "Fault" claim....run that by me again I said? You meant the fault claim which was actually a NON FAULT as quoted in the letter Aviva sent me saying the drunk driver had admitted liability?
Then the fun started...did you know it takes 7 people, (4 who can't speak english!) to try to get the Aviva computer system to show the correct info on a customers policy renewal? Well, thats how many I have spoken to and they still cannot get me the right quote because they cannot get rid of the fault claim on their system even though they admit it was put on in error! THEIR ERROR!
Needless to say, I shall be going elsewhere in future. They are so big now they don't care about customers and don't even employ people who can speak english anymore!
