Review of Sheilas Wheels Car Insurance

I insured with Sheilas Wheels as they were the cheapest of the companies I had heard of. MOST EXPENSIVE MISTAKE I EVER MADE!!!!

They cancelled my car insurance three days before they notified me sayng they had not received proof of ncb even though I had sent it twice! They could not reinstate the policy but offered me a new one at a higher price. I declined, went with another company who contacted Sheilas Wheels to try and verify my ncb. Sheilas Wheels actually confirmed that I had 9 yrs ncb - proof they had received the document after all. Even so this means that after 22 yrs of continuous motor insurance with no claims or other problems I now have a cancelled policy against my name and am very lucky that there were no incidents during the 3 days I was unknowingly uninsured.

Please be warned. I have since found out that Sheilas Wheels are part of e-car insurance and have read of others having the same experience with e-car.

Customer services were very uninterested telling me that I should have checked that the documents had been received, not assumed that they would contact me if there was a problem.

Sorry this has been along review but I have left out a lot of the more trivial complaints I have including the attitude of staff and blatant rudeness.
