Review of Fonesafe Mobile Phone Insurance Cover

Very bad service from Fomsafe.

• 0845 number, only open 9-5pm, no weekends
• Had to call during work time, lunch time
• Each time I called i was told to supply or obtain some information
• Called in several times - asked the lady why i wasn't just told all I needed initially - no response!
• Spent on average 15mins each call
• My phone was damaged beyond repair and could not access it so they classed it as lost - needed a police ref number and needed to call network provider to black list the phone - connected through to network provider but still on the fonesafe connection!
• Felt they kept you on the phone as long as possible
• They made things difficult on purpose when making a claim
• I will be cancelling my policy once I get a replacement phone
• Phone insurance is not worth the hassle in my view, if I lose my phone etc I'll have to buy a new one or use an old handset meanwhile
