They do not have customer care skills. We had our boiler serviced on Friday 30th April 2010 and the boiler worked before the engineer came and now it does not work at all.
We were made to use Scotia Limited of Tewksbury and I have phoned and emailed them, it is the engineers fault that our boiler does not work but they have not made any effort to get our boiler fixed. We do not know if or when it will be fixed, we pay quarterly for this contract which should ensure that we have a properly working boiler. We were able to use a local company before and had no problems, this company called Johnson Scotia we had to use as this is who the contract is with through Domestic and General and they give no service at all.
We have had the worst Bank Holiday ever, no hot water or heating through no fault of our own. Domestic and General have not helped us, we have had to make all the telephone calls to both Domestic and General and Johnston Scotia. Domestic and General have said that because Johnston Scotia caused the problem they are liable, but this does not help us, we have been left to sort the problem out.
We pay them money to ensure that we have heat and hot water. We have no heat or hot water and Domestic and General have not even contacted Johnston Scotia to see what they are going to do.
