I have been with Lloyds for a number of years and never claimed.
At the weekend part of the ceiling in my hall fell down, I would think probably a leak in my roof. Everyone said no problem you are insured. It took me 2 days to get through and when I did they said could I tell them where the leak was and could I get on the roof to see. As I am 64 how they expected me to climb on my roof I dont know. Also I live on my own.
They said as we had not had a storm I couldnt claim. I am now left with a hole in my hall ceiling. Why do we pay for insurance? They have had hundreds of pounds out of me. Now I have to pay not only my premium but for someone to repair both the roof and my ceiling. I will be cancelling all my policies with them a.s.a.p.
