Bad enough I couldn't get insurance on a house that had been flooded once in living memory, miles away from a flood risk area, during the July 2007 storms. All due to poor maintainance by the local council.
Then HomeProtect go and charge me £2000 for the priviledge of a policy with conditions and an enormous excess.
I later found insurance at £750 less than HomeProtect. That's a lot of money to be overcharged.
Surely this is taking advantage of people's misfortune. Not good at all.
