Review of Swiftcover.com Comprehensive Car Policy

Swiftcover are, in every way, completely useless. During the period of cover, I had two no-fault claims.

On the first occasion, my car was damaged by a third party while parked and the incident was witnessed by a lawyer, who provided a full statement. Five months later, after lots of emails and phone calls, my car is fixed, but I have not yet been able to reclaim my £250 excess and the thrd party has not admitted liablility.Swiftcover have made no effort to pursue my claim or to push for acceptance of liability. They simply don't care.

On the second occasion, my car was broken into and the glass was smashed. I am covered for glass replacement in my policy, so RAC Autoglass were contacted to replace the glass. 24 hours later, the car was still in the road where it was broken into, not secure and not protected from the elements. I called Swiftcover to ask them to sort it out - their response? We're closed today, because it is Sunday. An insurance company that is closed on a Sunday??? How crazy is that.
