Was sold the policy by t-mobile in one of their shops when upgrading my mobile understanding Fonesafe to be a part of t-mobile. This was the impression given because the correspondence, forms, etc all had Fonesafe & t-mobile logo's of equal prominence.
When I lost my phone I contacted t-mobile to block the sim & blacklist the phone. Unfortunately I did not contact Fonesafe within the designated 48 hours and hence they rejected my claim. Since t-mobile had blocked the sim & blacklisted the phone Fonesafe are not liable for any further losses against this phone and I can see no reason why a decent, reasonable & reputable company would not pay out for a new phone.
I would advise everyone to steer clear of Fonesafe because they will avoid payment at all costs. I am now persuing a claim through the Financial Ombudsman who regulate the Insurance industry.
