Quick to take your money but refuse to pay on a claim!

My vet now asks customers for full payment in advance if you are insured by E and L as they are notorious for not paying up.

They refused to pay for an ulcerated sarcoid as they said it was a condition all older horse get! He was 15 at the time, fit and well and obviously used his age as an excuse not to pay!

This company are terrible at paying out for claims. Average wait is about 3 months, and then you have to keep phoning up, and eventually my vet practice got involved. When you phone you usually can't get through due to lack of staff, and volume of calls. Terrible at phoning you back as well. My vet hates dealing with them, and once they have settled my outstanding claim, I will be cancelling my policy with them. (my dogs were insured with them).
