Since 31st March we have had no boiler working. We were under the impresion we were speaking with Halifax but since found out its Homeserve.
Weve had 3 engineers come out all diagnosing different problems. One did get the boiler working but it failed the next night having been promised call backs but nobody seems to want to help us.
We took out the extra insurance cover and are now out of pocket sleeping on relatives floors as our house is so cold (It is an old house so not as warm as modern house). It would have been cheaper to get low cost insurance and pay a plumber ourselves as we are covered for the first £500, this seems to have drained away (no pun intended) and we are being billed for the extra.
Call centre extremly rude saying they've tried to call when they haven't (i have given them 6 different contact numbers if they cannot reach my mobile !!). As we go into the third week with no heating we are left waiting!
