I have used marks and spencer travel insurance several times and never had need to claim. This year when on holiday in turkey, I lost a camera, which I duly reported to police.

They would not log my report as I would not state it was stolen. M & S insurance will not pay me out as I have no documentation. I have found them totally unhelpful in this matter.

I have been honest about everything and have been made to feel that I am trying to make a false claim. I am very angry about the whole situation and am left wondering if it is worth taking out holiday insurance at all.
