It is not possible to ask them to repair or service a boiler because their telephone system is a joke, so it is not possible to speak to anyone; they do not reply to e.-mails. I could not recommend them.

Date: 4/6/2009 Coverheat took my money and did nothing. When I tried to cancel they refused to refund anything, despite their written terms which said that refunds would be given. After a long letter writing campaign to Coverheat, Corgi, Trading Standards etc i threatened them with legal action. Fortunately my credit card company - Tesco, intervened and managed a full refund. Thank you Tesco. Avoid Coverheat

Date: 11/4/2009 I agree with all the comments below. Definitely would not call them emergency breakdown cover. Plus they charge you for anything found in the annual maintenance. They use an outsourced company based in Scotland.

Date: 4/3/2009 I would not recommend them. I have been waiting 4 weeks for an engineer and now a week for a part to be ordered. When you phone you only get through to a call centre, not the company itself and the call centre have no way of contacting them other than through email which they never respond to. I have phoned 10 times in a week and nobody has bothered to get back to me.

Date: 11/12/2008 I agree completely. I did not renew my cover when it expired a few days ago because, not only was the firm slow to respond, when an engineer did carry out the work - which he did very well - he was still waiting for his payment from Coverheat more than 6 months after carrying out the repair to the boiler.

Date: 7/12/2008 Totally agree. Their staff are incompetent, can't seem to work a computer, conveniently lose details of calls when you've had to chase, don't follow up on requests you've made for missing paperwork, make fundamental errors with paperwork... I could go on.
I've been waiting for 3 days in the middle of winter to have an engineer call.
