I advised mum, mum-in-law and other family members to take out various essential insurance with homeserve because it is difficult to get plumbers and electritians on tap.
Three years on with no previous claims my mum had to get the Homeserve electrician out, he first insulted her home as being old fashion (she is 84). While fixing the plug and the switch in the kitchen the conservatory light and socket stopped working. As he was so 'big' built he could not get through into the attic and told my mum that it was impossible to fix. Needless to say Homeserve lost my custom that day I also notified the people I introduced to the service 3 years ago.
