Customer Review Comments:

I took cover with them because they were cheap. Early in September someone vandalised my car (R reg Vectra) by setting fire to it, writing it off, three weeks after getting it MOT'd.

They gave me a courtesy car for only two weeks, then left me on foot. They have been slow in deciding it was a write off and that they would pay out. They are going to deduct the rest of my years premiums from my settlement figure, as well as the £100.00 excess. They are going to give me £290.00 altogether. This is the amount I have to try and get back on the road.

Because I queried if the insurance (that I was paying for, on a car I no longer have,) could be transferred to another vehicle, it held up my payout. I am still waiting. It seems they will do anything to keep your money. Beware...

Good Points: Quick online etc
Bad Points: Have to pay a full years premium if you make a claim.

Whether you pay monthly for your insurance or yearly, the entire premium is due if you make a claim (that is deemed as fault) and the car is written off. The insurers hold up their end of the bargain by dealing with your claim and paying out for your vehicle but you still have to pay the premium as you signed a contract to enter a 12 month agreement for their services.

You shouldnt have to pay for the entire year up front. You pay the excess until liability is settled. If the claim is 5k what good does it do the insurer by making you pay £500 worth of insurance premiums upfront! lol they are still £4500 out of pocket!

Of course you have to pay the full year if you have a claim!!! What if you make one payment of £30 then you write your car off and the company pays out £5000?? You have paid the insurance over 12 months and the company have let you spread the premium over 12 months. The insurance has been used (you have made a claim) and now you expect not to pay for the insurance year?
