Customer Review Comments:

Currently in dispute with this company.

On the first ever call-out request, I asked for three radiator valves to be replaced. They eventually agreed to attend but wanted to carry out an annual inspection to coincide... great I thought.

The boiler was condemed (17/09/2008) still can't get them to come out  to replace the boiler, then they wanted another of their engineers to check the first engineers work. Agreed, but they cancelled twice and nothing heard since. I asked if I could arrange an independent engineer to do the work, guess what?

The terms and conditions have been changed! Can't do that, must be one of their engineers!!!! You must avoid Coverheat at all costs.

Sent a letter by recorded delivery on 9/4/09 to Cover Heat at their Adur Business Centre address. Royal Mail have today returned this letter to me marked "addressee has gone away". Cover Heat are no longer trading from the address advertised on their current website. On their current website it shows the CORGI symbol & number 232407, on checking with CORGI & Gas Safe Register this membership number does not exist.

Trying to call CoverHeat since Monday morning (6th April 2009) to request an engineer to attend. CoverHeat's response messages is that all our operators are busy right now. Have they ceased trading or are they keeping callers waiting longer on their premium phone numbers so they can get extra income from our phone calls. Reported this to Sussex Trading Standards and Consumer Direct. CoverHeat is not on the Gas Safe Register (formerly CORGI)

I have been trying to contact Coverheat for over 5 days without any success. The calls are never picked up and the call queue starts with 5 callers in the queue -4-3-2-1 and then starts all over again. They do not respond to email messages also. A very frustrating experince - I shall not renew my policy with them ever again !
