Customer Review Comments:
Without boring you all to death - same problems as others.
Purchased a Panasonic TV 4 years back £1,600, it went wrong after 4 months and needed a new fuse, was charged £25.00 call out charge even though it was under Panasonic's warranty.
Stupidly did not take out additional insurance with D&G until the manufacturers warranty had expired, therefore annually this is higher. Established when it went wrong 6 weeks back and it was deemed not cost effective to repair by D&G, that we had to pay the remainder of our Direct Debits to ensure we paid our £279.00 premium before they would replace the TV. In total we have spent £715.00 with D&G over the past 3 years.
Tried to fob us off with a replacement Panasonic which was by no means of the same quality - managed to upgrade to a slightly larger screen size, however BE AWARE they only replace as they call it to the same specification in their terms - so the TV we ended up with cost £499.00 in the shop (but I bet D&G never paid that). Now going after Panasonic for some compensation - watch this space!!!!
Customer Services speak to you as if they are doing you a huge favour by offering you a replacement - yet another bunch of rogues in this wonderful country!!
